Tata Digital has secured a new office space in Mumbai’s commercial hub, leasing 58,668 sq ft at One International Centre, Lower Parel, for a five-year period. According to property registration records accessed by CRE Matrix, the annual rent exceeds ₹12 crore.

The lease covers five units across the 15th, 16th, and 17th floors. A security deposit of over ₹7 crore has been paid, with the lease agreement officially registered on March 17, 2025. While the lease commenced on February 1, 2025, the rent becomes payable starting July 16, 2025. The starting monthly rent is ₹1.05 crore, with an annual rent escalation of 5%.

In addition to the office space, Tata Digital has leased 49 parking spots, with any extra parking charged at ₹10,000 per month.

One International Centre is a sought-after corporate address in Central Mumbai, housing offices of various multinational companies. This move marks a strategic relocation for Tata Digital, which is shifting its headquarters from Fort House in South Mumbai (SoBo) to Lower Parel.

As per a report by Moneycontrol, Tata Digital informed employees of the upcoming move and plans to vacate its current six-floor setup at Fort House. The transition to One International Centre is expected to conclude by the end of July 2025.

Interestingly, in June 2024, Tata Digital had renewed its lease for Fort House, paying a monthly rent of ₹2.98 crore and a security deposit of ₹15.03 crore. That space spanned 1.02 lakh sq ft over ground plus six floors, with the company occupying nearly the entire building, excluding 588 sq ft on the second floor.

Both Tata Digital and Nucleus Office Park, which manages One International Centre, did not respond to queries regarding the transaction at the time of reporting. Updates will be provided if responses are received.

Tata Digital is a key player in the Tata Group’s digital strategy, holding majority stakes in consumer-focused platforms such as BigBasket and 1mg.
